Your role
We are strengthening our mission-critical telecom team in Stockholm and have multiple openings across IP transport from designing to planning, implementation and integration.
As an IP Transport Solution Architect for Mission Critical Communications, you will bring deep expertise in carrier-grade IP transport networks, end-to-end service architecture, routing, traffic engineering and resiliency design. You will play a key role in defining, designing, and validating resilient transport solutions spanning IP Backbone, Transport and Backhaul to secure communications between the Mobile Core, Radio Access Networks, Security Platforms, Data Centres, and cloud-native environments.

In this role you will play a key role in:

- Design, implement and configure IP transport and backbone networks, including routing architecture, network segmentation, traffic isolation, resiliency, capacity planning, availability, performance and end-to-end service assurance.

- Lead end-to-end integration and implementation of IP transport and backbone solutions across RAN, Core, datacentre and service domains, including configuration, integration, testing, troubleshooting and service readiness.

- Drive IP integration with relevant network elements, ensuring routing, QoS, synchronization, resiliency and connectivity requirements are validated through implementation and acceptance.

- Establish connectivity for hosted network functions, platforms and services, defining a scalable routing architecture utilizing standard routing protocols (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS-TE, SR-MPLS/SRv6), ensuring network scalability, performance, and operational simplicity.

- Implement and validate resilience strategies including Active-Active and Active-Standby architectures, geographic and path diversity, fast convergence mechanisms, BFD, MPLS-FRR, and TI-LFA to eliminate single points of failure and meet demanding availability objectives.

- Translate High-Level Designs (HLD) into detailed engineering and implementation Low-Level Designs (LLD), supporting deployment, integration, testing, migration and service readiness.

- Act as the Connectivity/IP Transport SME, leading technical decisions, design reviews, troubleshooting, documentation, implementation governance and knowledge transfer across delivery and operations teams.

Your profile

- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field

- Min 10 years of experience in IP planning, designing, implementation or integration.

- Professional networking certifications such as CCNA together with a CCNP or CCNP Enterprise certification are considered a strong advantage.

- Ability to bridge operational, architectural, and governance aspects of network optimization etc

- Fluency in English; Swedish language skills are advantageous
