Summary of the position:
The HRBP GMS serves as the strategic HR partner for the Campinas manufacturing site, providing end-to-end HR leadership across people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and HR service delivery. As a member of the Site Leadership Team (SLT), the role helps translate business priorities into effective people strategies and initiatives.
The HRBP GMS acts as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers, providing guidance on employee relations, organizational and talent matters, and the colleague experience. The role also coaches leaders, managers, and colleagues and models outstanding leadership and the Zoetis Core Beliefs and Values.
The HRBP GMS collaborates with business leaders, managers, colleagues, functional HRBPs, the HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Zoetis Colleague Services (ZCS), and International HR to identify needs, develop and implement practical HR solutions, and improve HR programs and services. The role supports employee relations, talent acquisition, colleague engagement, talent management, leadership development, change management, diversity and inclusion, performance management, workforce planning, and compensation planning and implementation.
Job responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders, managers, and colleagues as the primary strategic HR advisor for Zoetis’ Commercial business. Build trusted-advisor relationships and provide guidance, insights, and the people perspective to inform business decisions.
- Develop and maintain a strategic talent pipeline and workforce plan, identifying critical capabilities, development needs, and talent priorities aligned with business strategy.
- Strengthen the strategic partnership between HR and business management by identifying business challenges and opportunities and translating them into focused HR initiatives.
- Drive succession planning for key roles by assessing talent readiness, identifying successors, and partnering with leaders on targeted development plans to mitigate talent risks.
- Lead actions related to the global employee engagement and climate surveys, translating results into action plans, partnering with leaders on key themes, and monitoring progress and impact over time.
- Partner with the Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and Zoetis Colleague Services (ZCS) to ensure HR programs are practical, aligned with business needs, and effectively implemented.
- Interpret HR policies and approve policy exceptions within the scope of delegated authority.
- Embrace, lead, and facilitate change related to HR programs and initiatives, while supporting colleague engagement and organizational culture.
- Monitor the effectiveness and results of HR programs and partner with the CoEs and ZCS to implement improvements as needed.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations and compliance matters, ensuring alignment with company policies and applicable laws.
- Actively promote and reinforce the Zoetis Core Beliefs.
- Maintain a strong understanding of local payroll and benefits administration processes.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of HR experience; manufacturing/plant HR experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English.
- Strong business acumen; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- HRIS experience preferred (Workday a plus); advanced MS Office proficiency.
