Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at our new Baptist SilverLeaf location. This is a PRN, night shift opportunity.

This emergency department provides high-quality care to a growing community in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is ideal for nurses committed to clinical excellence and patient advocacy.

Registered Nurse Job Responsibilities:

Provide safe, evidence-based care to emergency patients

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans

Educate patients and families on treatment plans

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

Coordinate care with ancillary services

Serve as a patient advocate

Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Registered Nurse Experience:

1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience (required)

Telemetry Experience (required)

Emergency Department Experience (preferred)

Hospital Experience (required)

Registered Nurse Education & Credential Requirements:

Associate of Science in Nursing (required)

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)

Licensed Registered Nurse (required)

Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)

CEN, TNCC, NIHSS (preferred)

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services. Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.
*Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
