A Day in the Life
Healthcare is evolving rapidly, and Medtronic's innovative therapies help improve patient outcomes through earlier diagnosis, safer treatment, and enhanced quality of care. We are seeking a Technical Consultant to join our Pain Therapies team, supporting healthcare professionals and patients across Ireland to help optimise therapy outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone with a healthcare or life sciences background who enjoys working directly with clinicians, patients, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Medtronic devices in clinical, operating theatre, and outpatient settings
- Support healthcare professionals and patients to ensure effective use of therapy solutions
- Troubleshoot device-related issues and resolve customer enquiries within assigned accounts
- Collaborate with clinical, sales, and technical teams to deliver high-quality customer support
- Maintain awareness of relevant market developments and competitive products
- Accurately maintain and submit required business and activity information
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare stakeholders
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working within a healthcare, clinical, or medical technology environment.
- Experience interacting with healthcare professionals and/or patients in a clinical or technical capacity
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel within the territory
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant discipline such as Life Sciences, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Radiography, Biology, Biomedical Science, Neuroscience, or a related field
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

The final salary within this range will be determined based on objective, job-related criteria, including relevant experience, skills and qualifications, in accordance with our compensation framework.
