About this role
Milwaukee Electronics is looking for a Materials Supervisor to lead the team that keeps materials organized, accurate, and ready for production. If you enjoy developing people, solving inventory challenges, and improving how work gets done, this role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact in a contract electronics manufacturing environment.
Youll work closely with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to keep material flowing, address shortages, and support customer delivery requirements.
Work Shift: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
What youll do
- Lead and develop Material Handlers and Shipping/Receiving Clerks, setting clear priorities and supporting their training and performance.
- Oversee receiving, storage, picking, staging, material movement, and shipping.
- Maintain accurate inventory and ERP records through consistent transactions, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
- Coordinate with Purchasing and Production to address shortages and keep materials available when needed.
- Support new product introductions with accurate material staging and documentation.
- Improve warehouse organization and material flow while maintaining safety and quality standards.
What youll bring
- 5+ years of materials management, warehouse, or inventory control experience in electronics or contract manufacturing.
- At least two years of supervisory, lead, or mentoring experience.
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, inventory controls, cycle counting, receiving, and material planning processes.
- A practical leadership approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage changing priorities.
- Clear communication and a collaborative approach to solving problems.
- Knowledge of applicable shipping and DOT requirements for materials handled by the facility.
Epicor experience, familiarity with electronic components, BOM structures, and ESD procedures, and a bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field are preferred.

Work setting
This is an onsite role in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with regular time in warehouse, shipping/receiving, and manufacturing areas. Essential duties include standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting or moving up to 50 pounds, and operating material handling equipment after required training and authorization. Safety glasses, shoe straps, ESD smocks, and wrist bands are required in designated areas.
