MCA Motion Safety Engineer

Scope of the Role:

Support the efforts of the Motion Control & Automation Group (MCAG) of implementing Functional Safety of Moving Machinery (Motion Safety) on Neutron Instruments; integrate the respective system into the motion control PLC system.

Requirements

- Engineering degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- 3+ years in developing, integrating and commissioning industrial automation systems.

- Experience in verification and validation of industrial automation systems.

- Experience in documenting these systems.

- Evaluation of motion hazards and definition of motion safety requirements according to EN ISO 12100 and 13849; knowledge of the respective processes and workflow.

- Design of functional safety systems.

- Knowledge of the validation process of functional safety on moving machinery.

- Knowledge of preparing the respective documentation.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Excellent oral and written English skills are mandatory.
- Hungarian citizenship and fluent Hungarian language skills are mandatory.
