About this role

Aristeo is seeking a Yard Associate to join our Assets and Maintenance team and help keep our construction crews running smoothly. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and dive in, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

- Coordinate daily material orders and deliveries with Project Manager(s) and Superintendent(s)
- Track shipments, verify physical on-site deliveries, and resolve short-shipments or damaged goods immediately
- Review delivery tickets, packing slips, and cost phase to ensure accuracy
- Partner with the Purchasing Associate regarding any discrepancies or issues with deliveries
- Receive, unpack, check, and store materials
- Communicate with the yard team to ensure all items are unloaded for incoming and outgoing shipments
- Load and unload route and freight trucks
- Assist with directing drivers when necessary
- Utilize Hilti Ontrack to maintain and track assets and verify equipment is returned to designated storage locations
- Organize and put away all inventory and returns in the appropriate location
- Assist the Purchasing Associate with gathering items required by field personnel
- Follow all safety procedures
- Follow filing procedures to ensure all paperwork is maintained in an orderly manner
- Assist the Purchasing Associate, Project Manager(s), and Superintendent(s) with inventory updates and needs

What You'll Bring:

- Good communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Solid inventory and documentation skills
- Construction experience and HiLo operating experience are preferred
- Physical strength, the ability to repeatedly move materials, and working inside and outside is required

Experience:

- 2+ years of previous yard experience preferred
- Hilti Ontrack software experience preferred
- High school diploma or its equivalent is required
