LOCATION: This position is on-site, office-based in Atlanta, GA (hybrid model - 3 days remote / 2 days in office- Tuesday & Wednesday)

JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Director, Teen Experiences & Strategy, the Manager, Teen Experiences is responsible for executing and operationalizing teen engagement experiences across Boys & Girls Clubs of America, with a strong focus on building field capability and supporting high-quality implementation. This role translates strategy into practice by leading execution of national teen experiences including the National Keystone Conference, the Summit for America’s Youth, the National Youth Advisory Council (NYAC), and providing direct coaching, consultation, and technical assistance to Clubs, states, and regions. The Manager also develops and facilitates capability-building supports, including peer cohorts, coaching, technical assistance, and the development and adoption of practical tools that enable Clubs to implement teen programming, signature experiences, and culminating events with quality and consistency. This role requires a strong executor and coach who can work directly with the field, translate strategy into actionable supports, and continuously improve experiences based on feedback and data.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Execution of National Teen Experiences - Leads planning and execution of national teen events, including: - National Keystone Conference - Partnership in design and execution of the Summit for America’s Youth - Annual Signature Experiences - Manages logistics, timelines, vendors, and cross-functional coordination - Supports integration of youth voice into experience planning and execution National Youth Advisory Council (NYAC) Execution - Supports execution and coordination of NYAC, including: - Recruitment and application processes - Coordination of in-person kickoff experience - Planning and facilitation support for monthly virtual meetings - Coordination with advisors and participants - Supports engagement of NYAC members in contributing to program design and organizational initiatives - Ensures a high-quality, developmentally meaningful experience for youth participants and advisors Field Coaching, Consultation & Capability Building - Provides direct coaching and consultation to Clubs, states, and regions to strengthen teen experiences and programming in line with our Club Readiness Framework

- Partners closely with the Quality Improvement and Youth Impact team to align coaching efforts with quality standards and impact priorities - Supports Clubs in implementing teen programming, leadership pathways, and culminating experiences with quality and consistency - Designs and facilitates capability-building supports, including: - Peer learning cohorts - Coaching engagements (individual and group) - Targeted technical assistance sessions - Builds staff capacity to deliver high-quality, youth-centered experiences that drive engagement, belonging, and leadership development Tool & Resource Development - Develops playbooks, templates, and tools to support Clubs in designing and delivering teen experiences - Creates sample agendas, formats, and implementation resources for signature and culminating experiences - Ensures materials are practical, actionable, and aligned to strategy and quality standards Support Signature & Innovative Programming - Supports development and rollout of signature and “just-in-time” teen experiences - Assists in identifying trends, youth interests, and emerging needs to inform programming - Supports pilot implementation and refinement of new program models Project Management & Coordination - Manages multiple projects and timelines simultaneously - Coordinates across internal teams, including Program Activations, Quality Improvement, and Youth Impact - Tracks deliverables and ensures timely and high-quality execution Data, Feedback & Continuous Improvement - Collects and analyzes participation data, coaching insights, and field feedback - Identifies trends and opportunities to strengthen teen experience quality and implementation - Supports continuous improvement of tools, resources, and coaching approaches - Contributes to reporting on engagement, quality, and outcomes

SUPERVISION EXERCISED - May coordinate vendors, partners, and project-based contributors - No direct supervisory responsibility

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree required; Masters degree preferred

- 7+ years of experience in youth development, program implementation, coaching, or related fields

- Experience providing coaching, training, or technical assistance in individual and group settings

- Experience executing programs or events from planning through delivery

- Experience working across multiple stakeholders in a networked or multi-site environment

ENVIORNMENTAL & WORKING CONDITIONS

- Atlanta-based hybrid role aligned to organizational guidelines

- Ability to travel up to 40% as required

- Ability to operate in a standard office environment

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $84,000.00 to $94,000.00. BGCA takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training and experience, as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. We are highly invested in every employee’s total well-being and offer a substantial and comprehensive total rewards package.
