Substitute Teacher III – BBCF Head Start
Make a difference - one day at a time. Join the Black Belt Community Foundation's (BBCF) Head Start program and help shape young minds while supporting your local community. As a Substitute Teacher, you'll step into the classroom when needed to lead engaging lessons, nurture curiosity, and provide children with a safe and supportive learning environment.

What You'll Do:
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote children's growth in all developmental areas.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Support children's learning and well-being in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards.
- Build positive relationships with families and help strengthen community connections.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with program guidelines.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education required.
- At least 2 years of experience working with young children, preferably in a Head Start or preschool setting.
- A caring and patient approach, with strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to teamwork, flexibility, and professionalism.
