You are an experienced drywall leader who knows how to bring out the best in people while maintaining high expectations for safety, quality, and execution. You understand what it takes to coordinate multiple crews and projects, and you are comfortable moving between planning, problem-solving, coaching, and hands-on field support.

Whether you are helping a foreman resolve a challenge, balancing labor across jobsites, or verifying that a project is ready to close out, you approach the work with ownership and a commitment to creating a positive experience for the people around you.

- Project stakeholders receive timely, accurate communication and experience strong collaboration.

- Opportunities to improve safety, productivity, cost, quality, and the team member experience are identified and implemented.

How You’ll Contribute

- Provide tactical leadership, coaching, and support to drywall foremen and carpenters across multiple projects.

- Take ownership of drywall scope outcomes, including schedule, quality, safety, productivity, and crew performance.

- Coordinate labor, tools, materials, deliveries, production goals, and project schedules across multiple jobsites.

- Partner with project managers, superintendents, foremen, vendors, and trade partners to resolve field challenges and maintain alignment.

- Support project startup and closeout through layout planning, material orders, RFIs, job walks, kickoff meetings, pull planning, and lessons learned.

- Onboard and train new team members while providing ongoing feedback, performance coaching, and formal evaluations.

- Visit jobsites regularly to monitor progress, reinforce safety expectations, verify quality, and support field teams.

- Maintain accurate schedules, timecards, project updates, and other documentation using Procore and related systems.

What You’ll Bring

- 10+ years of commercial drywall carpentry experience, including five or more years leading crews, teams, or multiple projects.

- Strong knowledge of commercial drywall systems, construction sequencing, production planning, quality standards, and performance metrics.

- Demonstrated experience with labor scheduling, workforce planning, and resource allocation.

- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, specifications, and engineered drawings.

- Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, jobsite safety practices, permitting, inspections, labor requirements, and union rules.

- Strong communication, organization, critical-thinking, and conflict-resolution skills.

- OSHA 30 certification.

- A valid driver’s license, an acceptable motor vehicle record, and the ability to travel between jobsites throughout the Twin Cities metro area.

Compensation & Benefits

- Salary: This is a union position covered under the Carpenters Union agreement. Union benefits, including healthcare and pension, are provided in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Weekly pay + discretionary annual bonus are provided.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

- This is a full-time, in-person role based in Minneapolis/St. Paul and surrounding area.

- This role requires sustained physical activity and the ability to work comfortably in a variety of job site conditions.

- You’ll regularly walk, stand, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use your hands and arms in repetitive movements. You must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds and work with tools and equipment such as hand tools, table saws, drill presses, hammers, saws, planers, and ladders. Climbing ladders, working on scaffolding, and maneuvering in tight or elevated spaces may be necessary, and physical exertion should be expected throughout the day.

- Visual and auditory awareness is essential for safety and communication.

- While performing these duties, you may be exposed to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity, depending on the season and job site.

- PPE is provided and required. All appropriate safety measures will be in place to ensure your well-being.
