Job Description

MDS Communications is looking for a full-time Account Manager (AM). AMs serve as the primary partner for a small portfolio of MDS clients, overseeing all aspects of their telephone fundraising campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience in non-profit fundraising, annual budget development and management, and all aspects of project management including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and completion/reporting of client projects.

Remote candidates will be considered.

Minimum Qualifications:

Understanding of nonprofit fundraising principles; mass-market fundraising experience preferred

2+ years of experience in client services, account management, fundraising, project management, or a related field

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Bachelor's degree preferred

Ability to travel occasionally

This position includes moderate copywriting and written client communication. While a cover letter is optional, candidates are encouraged to provide a brief writing sample or cover letter demonstrating their communication style.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day relationships for 2-3 nonprofit clients

Coordinate the entire fundraising campaign lifecycle

Monitor campaign performance and recommend strategic adjustments

Prepare client reports, presentations, and campaign analysis

Collaborate with internal operations, data, and production teams

Lead client meetings and provide proactive communication throughout campaign lifecycles

Support annual planning and budget discussions for assigned accounts

Starting Salary: $70K+/year DOE
