Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. | On-Call | Exempt
Team Coordinator
ope House Foundation is seeking a Team Coordinator to provide leadership and support to a team of Direct Support Professionals while helping ensure high-quality, person-centered services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading others, building strong teams, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of the people we support.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and support a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
- Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, payroll, billing, and documentation
- Ensure quality services and compliance with Medicaid waiver and licensing requirements
- Support individuals in achieving their goals and maintaining active involvement in their communities
- Lead team meetings and support staff development
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide leadership during emergencies
- Monitor service quality and help drive continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- Experience providing services to individuals with disabilities or other human services experience
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Commitment to person-centered services and supporting people to live full, self-directed lives
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Qualifications
Qualifications – What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Experience in human services or a related field (1+ year preferred in a supervisory or leadership role)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Demonstrated ability to support individuals with developmental disabilities in community or residential settings
- Open to p erson-centered practices and daily living support strategies
- Ability to maintain confidentiality , remain calm under pressure, and respond to crisis situations professionally
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
- Comfortable using technology for documentation, scheduling, and communication (e.g., basic computer skills, electronic records)
- High school diploma or GED required ; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license , an acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the job (e.g., lifting, standing, walking, assisting individuals)
- Must meet state and agency background check requirements
