Senior EMC Validation Engineer

The role of the Senior EMC Validation Engineer focuses on managing EMC validation processes for test systems in automotive power electronics and drive validation execution. It involves overseeing customer test requirements from design validation to production validation, analyzing requirements and test data, and ensuring timely test report delivery. The position requires test activities management experience, as well as projects / customer contacts and continuous improvement of EMC validation test methods, while collaborating across teams and supporting global operations.

Your responsibilities

- Manage the EMC Validation test activities during the product design cycle from product concept to production launch by leading EMC test group.
- Manage critical path timing issues to ensure on time test completion.
- Responsible for requirements analysis and test plan generation.
- Develop EMC validation test procedures using normative and customer test methods.
- Analysis of test data and comparison to requirements.
- Analyze data. Create test summaries and reports.
- Lead technical and process management of our ISO 17025 accreditation in the EMC test domains.
- Participate in product development team activities as EMC test representative and support EMC product engineer as customer interface.
- EMC test expert representative in Project and Customer meetings.

​What we’re looking for

- Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in EMC testing, preferably in validation within the automotive or related industry.
- Familiarity with test equipment: oscilloscopes, generators, power analyzer etc.
- Proven ability to identify and solve complex test engineering problems.
- Project management (test equipment’s / facilities) skills / experience will be considered as an advantage.
- Experienced in Matlab and Vector tools ( Canoe , Canape, Canalyzer ) to develop test script.
- Experienced in ISO17025 standard and EC marking homologation process will be an advantage.
- A strong working knowledge of computers and MS Office applications is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across functions.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams in an international environment.
- Fluency in English is required. German/French would be an advantage
