As a Network Engineer Expert at Ivy Partners, you will:

- Design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable network architectures across enterprise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Manage routing, switching, TCP/IP, VPNs, and enterprise connectivity solutions to ensure reliable network operations.
- Configure and maintain firewalls and network security controls to mitigate threats and protect infrastructure.
- Monitor network availability and performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement improvements.
- Assess existing infrastructure and recommend enhancements to resilience, security, and efficiency.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity through resilient network design and recovery planning.
- Maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Drive network modernization initiatives and evaluate new technologies against business and technical needs.

Requirements

About You
You are our ideal candidate if you:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in network engineering, network infrastructure, routing and switching, and network security.
- Strong expertise in designing and optimizing enterprise network architectures.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and enterprise connectivity solutions.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, network security controls, and threat mitigation.
- Experience with cloud networking and managing hybrid infrastructures.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools, with strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
- Experience supporting disaster recovery and business continuity environments.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and conduct infrastructure assessments.
- Valid CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent network/security certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
