Position Summary

As Trainer in our FBO, you will be responsible for developing the capabilities of our new and existing employees. Working with Base Management, you will promote Safety and Training protocols by supporting the culture of a Safety 1st mindset that is alignment of our Jet Aviation policies. As required, you will support the Base’s daily operations. This role is essential in developing a team that cares about its people and customers, while achieving its business targets .

Work Schedule & Compensation

Aviation operates on a dynamic schedule—things can change fast, and our success depends on team members who can adapt. We are looking for team members who thrive in a dynamic, around-the-clock operation and are open to working a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the operation, customers, and crews.

- We formally operate 24 hours daily, 7 days weekly.

- C Shift (11:00pm - 7:00am) is the initial assignment with potential for changes over time as our business needs and opportunities evolve.

- Training for this role is expected to last approximately 4–6 weeks. During the training period, hours may differ from the assigned shift listed based on operational and training needs. Once initial training is successfully completed, you will transition to the assigned shift.

The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range for this non-exempt position will be as follows: $32.00-$35.00 hourly, plus a performance-based bonus up to 5% of annual salary.

Minimum Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook

- 2-4 years of experience in the field of Line & Ramp Services having full knowledge of all related processes and procedures including NFPA 407: Standard of Aircraft Fuel Servicing; ATA Specification 103: Standard for Jet Fuel Quality Control at Airports and Fuel Storage Area (SIDA) Regulations.

- Certificate form NATA Line Service training program

- Good organizational skills

- Possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record

- Strong ability to coach, train, and share knowledge Ability to effectively present information, instruct, share knowledge, and respond to questions

- Good communication skills and customer relations skills required

Main Responsibilities

- Maintain site practices and procedures that contribute to a safe and enjoyable work.

- environment through regular safety meetings, training and consistent communication between Team Members and Management.

- Foster a work culture based on Jet Aviation values with an emphasis on safety by demonstrating continuous effort to improve operations, by promoting safe work practices, decreasing safety violations, reducing injury rates, and working cooperatively and jointly to provide quality customer service in a positive and professional manner.

- Administer and monitor employee development and training programs, assess needs and results, develop new and modify existing training programs to make sure that relevant, accurate and up-to-date information is presented.

- Deliver training that is active, relevant and draws on the experiences of the training participants.

- Determine training effectiveness by frequently checking student comprehension and understanding throughout the training period.

- Post training follow-up using observations and interviews to verify that learning objectives were met and maintain records of trainees’ progress and achievements. — Communicate safety and training issues to the base Director.

- Maintain site training records and internal quality assurance inspections.

- Support the safety team with all local safety investigations.

- Promote and support the use of the JetApps platform.

- Promote and support the SMS required reporting and inspections. — Promote and support all EHS/OSHA inspections.

- Completion of an OSHA” Industrial Safety” 10 or 30 Hr course within 90 days of hire.

- Participate in network safety and training meetings.

Main Responsibilities Cont.

- Communicate good housekeeping practices and uniform standards to new employees.

- Supports the Base’s daily operations when needed.

- Assists with new employee onboarding, i.e. proper IDs, uniforms, etc.

- Represents Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.

- When needed, perform all duties and responsibilities of a Line Service Technician or Customer Service Representative, as needed.

- Other duties as assigned.

The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
