Position Summary:
As an Early Intervention Special Education Teacher, you will provide developmental support and educational services to preschool students with learning delays or disabilities in a specialized classroom setting. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), support student progress across key areas of development, and collaborate with team members to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities include:

- Implementing strategies and interventions consistent with students' individual needs, interests, and abilities
- Adapting curriculum and developing lesson plans aligned with students' IEPs
- Implementing classroom management strategies that support student participation and learning
- Conducting assessments and progress monitoring activities
- Collaborating and consulting with IEP team members
- Supporting and guiding Assistant Teachers and classroom Paraprofessionals
- Developing and implementing activities and strategies that promote student growth and development

Qualifications:

- State Department of Education Certification (Required)
- Experience teaching in an early intervention or preschool setting preferred
