Position Summary:

- Job Title: DRC Support Liaison/Leads
- Full Time or Part Time: Full Time
- Temporary/Seasonal/Regular : Temporary
- Compensation: $20-$35hour

- Travel/Location: On-site various Florida locations with willingness to travel/deploy to other sites as needed.

Mission of Role/Position Summary

The DRC Liaison will perform a variety of support tasks to assist property owners with the debris removal program. The responsibilities for this role include working at the DRC providing outreach and information. This is a critical role in ensuring accuracy, organization and quality control for debris operations.

Position Responsibilities/Role Competencies:

- Assist with all necessary tasks for on-site support.
- Liaise with disaster survivors and field questions about the recovery programs.
- Provide guideance on response and recovery programs for disaster survivors
- Document daily activities.
- Perform outreach to citizens.
- Attend meeting with cities and communicate with applicable partners.
- Conduct outbound calls to residents to collect and document relevant information.
- Work in a fast-paced and variable environment with shifting priorities.
- Assist with all needed administrative tasks for successful operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Expected Hours of Work:

Schedule may vary. Work on evenings and weekends may be required. Dependability and punctuality are paramount.

Travel Requirements

- Up to 100% travel is expected for this position.
- Deployment to client sites for extended periods of time is required.

Physical Demands

- Mobility required on-site with clients.
- Sitting or standing for hours at a time.

- Ability to work at a computer for prolonged periods of time if needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the day and as needed.

Work Environment

- Emergency management consultants may work in an office or home environment or be deployed to the field which may require working outdoors in adverse weather conditions and across challenging terrain.
- Work may be on-site with clients ex: EOC, hospital, debris sites or local government buildings.

- All AC Disaster Consulting (ACDC) positions are remote work site positions with the home location agreed upon at time of hire.
- If the remote work site locations change, ACDC Human Resources must be made aware, and leadership needs to approve any site changes for business registration and payroll tax purposes.

Requirements

Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience:

- Debris and recovery operations coordination experience and surge support preferred.
- Experience in at least one emergency management response effort.
- 3+ years administrative experience.
- 2+ year data entry experience.
- Leadership experience required for lead roles

Required Skills, Education, and Experience:

- Use Microsoft Office tools for analysis and communication.
- 3-5 years customer service experience.
- Excellent and proven computer skills, particularly with database software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to compile, organize spreadsheets and necessary reporting.
- Highly organized.
- Process-driven and able to research and follow up with clients and property owners.
- Time-management.
- Solid team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High levels of flexibility and adaptability.
- High degree of empathy and ability to problem solve.
- One to three years’ experience in an administrative role.
