Job Overview

The majority of our teaching is General English, and then we also run specialty ‘module' classes in Business, IELTS preparation etc. and management. Our students are mainly international adults, each looking to study to achieve their own personal goals. Class sizes can be anywhere from 2-16 students.

We are looking for a teacher to teach up to 30, 45-minute lessons per week, and who is also willing to take grow in the company and take on new opportunities to support our Director of Studies and academic department.

Bayswater teachers are supported with regular check-ins, PD sessions and a robust online platform to support learning and aid in planning.

Requirements

- B.A. in a related field

- TESL Canada certification or its equivalent

- ESL teaching experience

- Learner centred focus

- Collaborative

Salary and Benefits

- Pay is dependent on experience, qualifications and which course you are teaching:

Teaching Hourly rates vary between $23.75 to $26.72 per hour (including prep time) and higher for specialty classes.

- Administrative duties and meetings are paid at $18.50 per hour
