About this role
# Job Description Summary
As a member of the Global Transportation team, you will be part of an international organization that drives GE Aerospace’s transportation and logistics execution across a complex global supply chain. This role supports the business’s Clear to Build strategy by ensuring material flows reliably to meet engine build and delivery requirements. The position will report into the Inbound Control Tower, the team responsible for enabling Clear to Build through disciplined transportation execution, issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination.
This is a high-intensity, high-volume execution role with primary focus on international and domestic inbound routes into the United States, while supporting a broader global portfolio. Success in this role requires the ability to receive overnight handoffs, assess priorities quickly, structure the day, and drive actions to closure in a dynamic environment.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on logistics experience, strong judgment, a bias for action, and the communication skills to engage stakeholders across transportation, customs, operations, suppliers, and internal customers. While process improvement is an important part of the role, the core need is consistent operational execution.
Preferred location: Ohio or Kentucky. Candidates located across the Eastern Time Zone may also be considered.
