Job Title: Geometry Engineer

Location: Rossford, OH

Mission:

- Validates datum scheme, stack-ups and tolerances calculated by the EPM / DL

- Supports tolerance commitment negotiation

- Contributes to his/her metier continuous improvement for methodologies

Responsibilities :

- Validates tolerance commitment in RFQ with PLE

- Validates measurement scenario in accordance with customer expectation

- Validates the content of the Geometry Folder created by the Design Leader or the EPM

- Leads the Geometry Folder definition for complex and innovative projects

- Estimates the budget (hours + costs) needed on global geometry scenario to ensure convergence on a project and submit to his Manager for validation

- Supports project when negotiating the feasibilities for tolerances

- Participates on measurements and analysis

- Ensures that the tools and methodology are used correctly within the projects

- Consolidates the dimensional production capabilities from the plant to improve tolerance calculation tools

Profile :

- Bachelor with experience or Master’s degree

- Min 3 years of significant experience in geometry field in direct contact with customer, practice of interface job between product & process department

- Mechanical engineering, statistics & tolerancing

- Dimensional inspection
