Job Description

Summary
Monitors and troubleshoots network systems, implements minor configuration changes, and ensures compliance with security standards. This role works closely with senior analysts to resolve escalations, validate solutions, and improve operational processes while maintaining accurate documentation. By analyzing network performance and identifying patterns, the analyst supports reliability, optimizes monitoring practices, and ensures consistent service availability.

Job Duties
- Investigate operational alerts and service degradations, fine-tune monitoring parameters, and apply minor adjustments to sustain optimal network health.

- Address routine connectivity issues and service requests across Layer 2 and Layer 3, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.

- Carry out approved configuration updates, compile performance metrics, and maintain thorough records of all changes and system states.

- Organize recurring operational findings, contribute to scheduled maintenance windows, and assist with upgrade activities to enhance system resilience.

- Work closely with senior analysts and team members to validate corrective actions, streamline workflows, and uphold security and compliance standards.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year related work experience
- Demonstrates a strong command of networking principles, including core technologies, protocol interactions, and the structure of enterprise network architectures.

- Possesses practical knowledge of VLAN segmentation, Spanning Tree Protocol for loop prevention, and foundational routing protocols such as EIGRP or OSPF to support efficient traffic flow.

- Is proficient in using command-line interfaces on major network platforms to execute diagnostics, review configurations, and apply changes accurately and securely.

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in related field
- 3 years related work experience
- Demonstrates intermediate to advanced troubleshooting expertise across Layer 2 and Layer 3, including diagnosing complex connectivity issues and implementing effective resolutions.

- Possesses familiarity and hands-on experience with enterprise-grade DDI environments, encompassing DNS, DHCP, and IP address management for large-scale networks.

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
