About the Role:
As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in our clinic(s), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with allergic and immunologic conditions. The NP will perform evaluations, testing, diagnosis, and treatment of asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergies, eczema, urticaria, sinus disease, and related conditions. Care is provided in collaboration with supervising physicians and in compliance with Pennsylvania scope of practice regulations.
What Youll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including obtaining medical histories and performing physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage asthma, allergies, and other immunologic conditions using evidence-based clinical guidelines.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic and laboratory tests (spirometry, allergy blood work, immunology panels).
- Prescribe medications, biologics, and therapies within Pennsylvania scope of practice.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitoring patient progress and adjusting as appropriate.
- Provide patient and family education on disease management, prevention, and avoidance strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
As with any dynamic clinical setting, responsbilities may evolve to meet the changing needs of the clinic and support overall team success.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education & Training
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationally recognized certifying body (ANCC, AANP, or equivalent).
- Licensure & Certification
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Current DEA registration for prescribing authority in Pennsylvania.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Experience
- Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred (new graduates considered with strong allergy/asthma clinical rotations).
- Prior experience in allergy, immunology, pulmonology, pediatrics, or internal medicine strongly preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Expectations:
- On-site, clinical office setting.
- Monday–Thursday, daytime schedule; occasional after-hours meetings may be required.
- Ability to sit for extended periods, move throughout the office as needed, and perform light lifting; manual dexterity required for frequent computer and phone use.
