3rd Shift Relief Sanitation Assist. (Drains )
Pay: $27.55 per hour plus Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour (if applicable)
Hiring Bonus: $2500
Shift & Working Hours: 10:50pm-6:50am Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.
Job Description:
The 3rd Shift Relief Sanitation Assist. (Drains) will serve as the relief for the full time drain cleaning personnel and all related activities.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
6 plus months of solid work experience in any industry
Basic computer skills
Ability to follow manufacturer's specifications and direction
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
18 years or older
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Work in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the day
Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision
Ensures a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks
Customer focused and able to work in a collaborative team
Ability to be flexible in work performed and schedule
Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and possess basic mathematical skills
Ability to lift/carry up to 55 lbs.
Must be committed to excellence in quality and sanitation. Committed to knowledge of EQMS Sanitation Standards.
Must learn Sanitation Critical Records Review.
Must possess solid decision-making abilities.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have good leadership skills.
Must have mechanical aptitude.
Must be willing to perform routine preventive duties.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience communicating with supervisors and co-workers in a team environment.
Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus
Knowledge of various pieces of high tech manufacturing processing and packaging equipment.
Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include:
Frequent movements include walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements.
Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present.
Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime.
Routinely climbing stairs and ladders while performing the duties of this role.
