Sunland Asphalt and Construction, LLC. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator in our Civil Construction division to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Operate scrapers, loaders, and Gannon boxes.
- Perform rough and finish grading activities.
- Move, spread, and balance soil materials.
- Load and stockpile aggregates and construction materials.
- Prepare subgrade and base for asphalt paving.
- Read grade stakes, plans, and GPS guidance systems.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks.
- Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements.
- Assist with excavation, backfill, and site preparation.
- Support civil and asphalt crews to meet project schedules.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- 1-3 years Equipment Operator experience with scraper, loader, and gannon preferred.
- Ability to speak read and write English is preferred.
