LAIS Enterprise Data, BI and Analytics

Pay Range:
$51.05 - $76.60

Highly experienced data driven candidate to lead the Language Access Interpreter Services enterprise data, business intelligence, and analytics strategy.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree  is required in data analytics, business intelligence, healthcare administration, or related field.
- Master's degree preferred in data science, business analytics, healthcare informatics, or related field.

Certification:

- Data analytics or BI certifications preferred (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SQL certifications).
- Advanced data analytics certifications preferred.
- Healthcare analytics or informatics certifications a plus.

Work Experience

- Typically requires 7+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or healthcare reporting.
- Prefer 7+ years of healthcare data analytics experience with enterprise BI platform management.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

- Expert proficiency in Power BI, advanced Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
- Strong data governance and quality management skills for enterprise reporting.
- Advanced analytical skills including trend analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Experience with healthcare data including operational, financial, and quality metrics.
- Strong stakeholder management skills for partnering across diverse functional areas.
- Data integration knowledge including ETL processes, data warehousing, and platform connectivity.
- Business case development skills include ROI modeling and impact assessment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for conveying data insights to diverse audiences.
- Project management skills for managing multiple analytics initiatives simultaneously.

- Experience building enterprise analytics programs for healthcare operations.
- Experience with healthcare regulatory reporting and compliance analytics.
- Advanced statistical analysis and modeling skills.
- Experience with data science tools (Python, R) for advanced analytics.
- Experience leading data literacy initiatives and building self-service analytics capabilities.

Major Responsibilities

- Lead the enterprise data, business intelligence, and analytics strategy for Language Services.
- Develop and manage performance dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for operational and strategic decision-making.
- Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to AVP leadership and functional leaders.
- Design and maintain data governance frameworks, standards, and quality assurance processes.
- Manage enterprise reporting including KPIs, SLAs, utilization metrics, and financial performance.
- Partner with all functional areas to identify data needs, define metrics, and build reporting solutions.
- Lead trend analysis, forecasting, and predictive analytics to support strategic planning.
- Collaborate with IT on data integration, warehouse design, and platform connectivity.
- Develop and manage analytics tools and platforms (Power BI, Excel, SQL) for the department.
- Support business case development with data analysis, ROI modeling, and impact assessment.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all reporting and analytics systems.
- Train and develop stakeholders on data literacy, dashboard usage, and self-service reporting.
- Manage ad hoc data requests and analysis projects for leadership and operational teams.
- Represent Language Services data and analytics in enterprise reporting and governance forums.

- Drive enterprise data analytics strategy and capabilities that enable advanced decision-making across Language Services.
- Develop predictive analytics and forecasting models that inform strategic planning and operational optimization.
- Lead adoption of emerging analytics tools and approaches that enhance data maturity and competitive intelligence.

Revenue Impact & Financial Stewardship

- Provide data-driven financial analysis and ROI modeling that supports strategic investment and budget decisions.
- Monitor program-level financial metrics and analytics that demonstrate revenue impact and cost optimization results.
- Support business case development with comprehensive data analysis and impact assessment.

Operational Excellence & Efficiency

- Build enterprise reporting infrastructure and dashboards that inform operational decision-making across all functional areas.
- Establish data governance standards and quality assurance processes that ensure accuracy and reliability of enterprise metrics.
- Support operational teams with analytics and insights that drive continuous improvement and SLA compliance.

Patient Experience & Language Access

- Develop and monitor enterprise analytics on language access equity, health outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
- Support measurement and reporting of patient experience metrics that demonstrate language access effectiveness.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

- Work requires use of telephone/computer and sitting for prolonged periods of time.
- Walking, standing, lifting, bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, and pulling are required a moderate amount of the time.
- May lift and carry up to 40 pounds on an intermittent basis.
- Must demonstrate the ability to communicate with individuals and groups effectively.
- Must possess critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and the ability to concentrate.
- Must be able to work with high volume of activities/projects with short deadlines.
- Work is hybrid and requires flexibility working from home office as well as other Advocate Health work locations as required by services provided.
