The role

AHA is looking for a responsible lab assistant to carry out sampling, testing, measuring, recording and analyzing in cooperation with the rest of the lab team. The successful candidate will have experience in a laboratory environment and accuracy to extract reliable and valid results.

What your day looks like

· Prep and load samples in microbiology

· Call critical results

· Archive and retrieve samples

· Perform inventory

· Unpack stock and maintain department supplies as needed

What you bring

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior laboratory, phlebotomy or medical office experience required
- Word processing and spreadsheet skills preferred
- Detail oriented
- Tues-Fri: 7am-5pm availability (shifts discussed during interview)
