About this role
We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to work in a school environment in the Bronx. The ideal candidate should be comfortable communicating with students, staff, and families and be able to maintain a professional and respectful environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain a safe and secure school environment.
- Greet and assist students, staff, parents, and visitors in a professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with students and staff in English and Spanish .
- Monitor entrances, exits, hallways, and common areas.
- Follow all school safety policies and procedures.
- Report any safety concerns, incidents, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with student arrival, dismissal, and daily activities as needed.
- Help maintain order and professionalism throughout the school.
- Respond to questions and provide basic assistance to students, staff, and visitors.
- Complete required reports and documentation accurately.
- Work cooperatively with school staff and management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a school, security, customer service, or administrative environment preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work well with students, staff, and the public
- Ability to follow instructions, policies, and procedures
- Must demonstrate patience, responsibility, and good judgment
- Ability to maintain a safe, respectful, and professional school environment
- Must be available to work a part-time schedule in the Bronx, NY
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
