About this role

MaintainX is a leading mobile-first work execution platform for industrial and frontline teams. More than 13,000 customers , including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL and Volvo, use MaintainX to cut unplanned downtime and run better operations, across 13.9 million managed assets and 79.5 million completed work orders.

In August 2026 MaintainX became part of Autodesk, joining Autodesk Operations Solutions , the organization unifying Autodesk's operations platform alongside Tandem, FlexSim and Fusion Operations. Autodesk's strategy is to converge design, make and operate into one continuous lifecycle: design an asset, build it, run it, then feed what you learn running it back into the next design. Autodesk had design and make. Operate is the phase that tells you what actually happened, and it is ours.

The Role

Every MaintainX deal starts with a first conversation. You'll build the team that starts them.

As Manager, Business Development in Denver, you'll hire, ramp, and develop a team of BDRs, and own the strategy and playbook that makes them productive. You report to the Director of Business Development.

What you'll own

- The team. Build a BDR team that consistently hits pipeline targets. You set the hiring bar, run the 90-day ramp, and hold every rep accountable.
- The cadence. Make pipeline predictable with a weekly coaching rhythm. Inspect behavior and find the root cause of a miss before it becomes a missed quarter.
- The playbook. Write the outbound motion: ICP, messaging, sequences, and the stack (Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo). Then keep rewriting it.
- The careers. Give every rep a development plan with a real path to AE or team lead. You own those promotions actually happening.
- The handoffs. Lock in ICP evolution, campaign activation, and pipeline handoffs with Marketing and Sales, and hold the alignment to outcomes.

Twelve months in: your team is ramped, performing, and developing. Pipeline is predictable. Every rep knows exactly where they're going.

You Have

Must-haves

- 1 to 3 years leading a BDR or SDR team at a SaaS or technology company, with documented attainment against team targets.
- A repeatable BDR hiring process. You know what an A-player looks like at screen and can spot one every time.
- Proof you can coach rep behavior and change output, not just report on it.
- Data fluency. You pull your own reports, read pipeline signals before they become problems, and coach to leading indicators.
- A record of holding Marketing and Sales ops to pipeline outcomes, not pipeline intent.
- You've written the playbook before, and you're comfortable building where little exists.

Nice-to-haves

- Experience selling into industrial, manufacturing, or operations buyers.
- Familiarity with the CMMS or EAM software category.

Our mission is to keep the physical world running. Factories, fleets, hospitals and campuses stay up because the people who maintain them have tools worth using. That is what we build.

Compensation and benefits. Base pay is one part of the package. Depending on the role, compensation may also include commission, an annual bonus and equity. Benefits differ by country. For roles in the United States, Autodesk’s benefits are described at benefits.autodesk.com . For roles in Canada and other countries, the plan differs on health coverage, retirement and leave, and your recruiter will walk you through it.

Belonging. We take pride in a culture where everyone can thrive. More at autodesk.com/company/global-belonging . More on where this is going: Autodesk CEO Andrew Anagnost on building the future of connected operations, and AOS SVP Stephen Hooper on welcoming MaintainX to Autodesk.
