Essential Functions:
- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and demonstrating Station Casinos’ “We Win Hearts” Company-wide culture and Company-wide Core Values.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, General Managers, and operational leaders on Team Member Relations and performance management.
- Ensure consistent interpretation, communication, and application of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices across all properties and departments.
- Lead and oversee Team Member Relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective action, and escalated performance issues.
- Directly handle or oversee Team Member Relations investigations and job performance issues at all levels and provide appropriate guidance.
- Support leadership in the implementation of strategies and policies regarding human capital which includes performance management, talent acquisition as well as labor and employee relations and HR-related communication.
- Maintain HR visibility and accessibility throughout the property.
- Interface with Corporate HR and sister Station Casinos properties to ensure consistency of Corporate-wide philosophies and policies, and that pertinent property-wide issues are being addressed at a Corporate-wide level.
- Attend and participate in recognition programs and celebrations for various departments.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and gaming-related regulations.
- Partner with Operations and Legal to identify and mitigate Team Member Relations and compliance risks.
- Drive initiatives that enhance Team Member engagement, retention, and service culture.
- Maintain departmental budget according to policies to include ongoing expense review, approval and tracking, and preparation of data for monthly P&L’s.
- Lead, mentor, and develop HR leaders and Team Members.
- Provide leadership and support for the Team Member Relations Managers and Human Resources Coordinators
- Assist with all Human Resources functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or 5 years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience in hospitality, gaming, or service-based environments or related field preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in influencing others, interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Results and people oriented, but have sound judgment—ability to balance other business considerations; service oriented, but assertive/persuasive
- Knowledge of employment law.
- Experience supporting large-scale operations.
- Excellent communication, judgment, and leadership skills.
- Bi-lingual desired
