Overview
The VP, Corporate Banking Relationship Officer - Deposits is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of Corporate Banking clients, with a primary focus on deposit growth, relationship management and new business development. The role focuses on relationships with businesses and nonprofit organizations generally ranging from $5 million to $25 million in annual revenue and identifies opportunities to provide additional Bank products and services. The position develops banking solutions that address client needs and support Corporate Banking growth objectives.

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of Corporate Banking clients, with a primary focus on acquiring, retaining and expanding deposit relationships.
- Identify client needs and develop appropriate deposit and banking solutions to support relationship growth and client retention.
- Develop new client relationships through business development, networking, industry and community activities and other relationship-building opportunities.
- Identify cross-sell and referral opportunities, including potential commercial lending opportunities, and work with internal business partners to connect clients with appropriate Bank products and services.
- Provide financial guidance to clients based on their business needs and maintain strong relationships through ongoing communication and service.
- Monitor deposit activity and client relationships to identify changes, potential risks and opportunities for relationship growth.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitive activity, deposit products and applicable regulatory requirements and provide relevant insights to clients and management.
- Contribute market and competitive insights to Corporate Banking deposit growth initiatives.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of sales or relationship management experience in financial services required.
- Experience generating deposit relationships with small to mid-sized businesses preferred.
- Experience with deposit pricing and liquidity management preferred.
- Working knowledge of treasury management solutions preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is a fully remote role that involves frequent travel to client sites, Bank locations, and industry/community events.
The successful candidate will be required to prove on the first day of work that they are legally authorized to work in the U.S. The Bank will not sponsor a candidate for a visa or for work authorization.

Compensation: $110,000 to $175,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary depending on location, experience, and other factors.
