In This Role You Will:

- Performs functions to maintain the community's buildings and grounds in good condition throughout the year.

- Completes work order requistions as assigned by performing corrective and preventive maintenance duties. Documents resolutions accurately and closes work order promptly upon completion.

- Performs skilled worked related to their specific field or trade and persons semi-skilled technical duties such as the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, electronics, carpentry, security, and related facility systems and components.

- Inspects boilers, HVAC equipment, plumbing, generators, pumps, motors, and similar mechanical/electrical equipment on a regular basis; troubleshoots problems and repairs as needed.

- Services a variety of kitchen equipment to include refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, etc.

- Repairs and installs doors and door hardware; changes and keys locks; installs security devices, alarm systems, pneumatic door closures, and related hardware; performs semi-skilled rough and finish carpentry work.

- Inspects and maintains electronic information, communication and control systems; ensures that sensors, controllers, and transmitters are in proper working condition.

- Performs contractor-level work in their area of expertise.

- Performs renovation and turnover maintenance; to ensure units are completed on schedule and in accordance with the resident's selections.

- Cleans and maintains work and storage areas. Repairs, cleans, lubricates, and stores equipment, tools, and fixtures.

- Participates in inventory and supply distribution processes as assigned.

- Performs all work in a safe manner and uses safety equipment as required; secures worksites from safety hazards as necessary.

- Preforms all other duties as assigned.

Shift Details:

- Fulltime Day shift 8:00a-4:00p; every 5th weekend on call rotation; and some holidays are required.

Who You Are:

- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and/or a minimum of two (2) years as a journey-level worker with experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of building operating systems and facilities; OR an equivalent combination of education, formal training, and experience, including a license or mastery of trade, ex. HVAC, Electrical

- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

- Must be knowledgeable of principles, methods, and materials used in a variety of mechanical, HVAC and electrical installation, maintenance and repair work and have the ability to relay technical information effectively.
