Job Description
Are you interested in starting your career in Human Resources? As an HR Associate in Convey's Emerging Talent Program, you'll support how our people are hired, onboarded and supported. You'll also grow through a six-month development program built for early-career professionals. You'll learn from leaders across the company and build a network outside your team. You'll also take ownership of a project that improves how HR works at Convey.
What you'll do
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, including scheduling, paperwork, system setup and first-week meetings with IT and HR
- Keep employee records and HR systems accurate and up to date
- Answer employee questions about policies, benefits and HR processes, and escalate when needed
- Support recruiting by scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates and keeping job postings current
- Help plan and run employee engagement events and company programs
- Help with HR reporting, audits and compliance documents
- Identify opportunities to simplify HR processes, improve efficiency, and make information easier to understand.
Your first six months
Through the Emerging Talent Program, you'll:
- Start strong by reviewing your goals for Days 30–180 with your manager. During your first week, you’ll participate in onboarding sessions, meet your team, and connect with your cohort over lunch.
- Join your cohort for Convey’s monthly Foundations Series to build your network, develop skills for your first professional role, and make an impact. The series begins in month one with a dedicated session with our CEO, who will share lessons from his career and why your growth matters to Convey’s future.
- Lead an Emerging Talent Impact Project. Find a real opportunity to improve something in HR, plan and run the project with stakeholders, and present your results to Convey leaders at the Emerging Talent Impact Showcase.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 0–2 years of experience; HR internships are a plus
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion when handling confidential information
- Clear, friendly written and verbal communication
- Curiosity, initiative, and a drive to learn, seek feedback, and take on new challenges
- An interest in finding better ways to work, including using AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency
- Comfort with Microsoft 365 and a willingness to learn new systems; experience with HRIS or AI tools is a plus
- Interest in building a long-term career in HR
