The Opportunity
This Commission & Bonus Analyst works out of our Austin, TX location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division
As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmia, or irregular heartbeats.
The Commission & Bonus Analyst is responsible for the accurate administration, calculation, validation, and payment of sales compensation programs. This role serves as a critical control point between Sales, Finance, HR, and Compensation systems, ensuring incentive plans are implemented correctly and Sales Representatives are paid accurately and on time.
Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex data across multiple systems. The analyst is entrusted with maintaining data integrity and proactively identifying issues that could impact compensation, revenue recognition, reporting, or compliance.
What You'll Work On
Because compensation calculations directly affect employee earnings, this position requires a high degree of ownership, precision, and accountability in every aspect of the compensation process. The Commission & Bonus Analyst :
- Serves as a primary administrator for Callidus, maintaining employee, territory, quota, and compensation plan data while ensuring system accuracy, compliance, and operational readiness
- Partners with Sales, Finance, and other groups to ensure Incentive Compensation Systems operate correctly; systems used include SAP, Callidus, Anaplan, Power BI, and others
- Also partners with Sales Leadership, Finance, HR, and Operations to manage territory alignments, quota assignments, system configurations, and governance processes that directly impact compensation calculations
- Leads and supports key financial and sales compensation close activities, including reconciliations, approval workflows, payout validation, and final pay file distribution
- Administers, calculates, audits, and processes SPIF programs and other sales incentive payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with plan provisions
- Owns the validation, preparation, and loading of compensation-related data into Callidus and supporting systems, ensuring incentive plans are calculated accurately and payments are processed on time. Identifies, investigates, and resolves data discrepancies before they impact compensation outcomes
- Supports Sales and Finance Teams with compensation and revenue recognition questions
- Coordinates internal and external audit requests and compliance activities, maintaining documentation and controls necessary to support compensation governance requirements
- Trains Sales Staff on Callidus, Pulse, Power BI, and other systems
- Conducts monthly reviews and provide ad hoc analysis with Regional Directors to identify, verify and recommend rep territory adjustments
- Interprets and defines sales roles within systems; sets up Rep Codes, SAP Territories and Revenue Allocation Percentages and ensures accuracy of data and information
- Demonstrate the knowledge and execution of all Sales Compensation and Bonus Plans and their related Employee Agreements
- Acts as a key steward of incentive compensation data, recognizing that accuracy directly impacts employee earnings, financial reporting, and trust with the sales organization. Maintains rigorous quality controls and audit-ready documentation throughout all compensation processes
- Performs related functions and responsibilities as assigned
- Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or other related discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience in a Financial/Accounting/Sales Analyst role(s), and inclusive of experience in a Commission Accountant/Analyst role
- Demonstrated Excel skills; ability to interface data with new or existing software
- Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
- Able to work in a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects
- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
- Multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to identify and resolve complex data discrepancies
- Experience managing sensitive compensation, payroll, financial, or operational data where accuracy is critical
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess downstream impacts of data changes across interconnected systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in processes where mistakes can have significant employee, financial, or compliance impacts
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in Compensation or Finance
- Experience with Callidus/SAP, Anaplan, Power BI, Copilot, Advanced in Excel

The base pay for this position is
$68,000.00 – $136,000.00
