What You'll Do

As an Assistant Teacher , you'll work alongside Lead Teachers and the school team to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.

You'll:

- Assist with daily classroom activities and lesson plans

- Support age-appropriate learning activities and classroom instruction

- Help create a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment

- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development

- Build positive relationships with children and their families

- Communicate professionally with parents, teachers, and management

- Assist with documenting children's development and progress

- Help establish consistent classroom routines and expectations

- Respond to children's individual needs with patience and empathy

- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom

- Work collaboratively with Lead Teachers and your teaching team

- Follow health, safety, and state licensing requirements

- Learn and develop the skills needed to advance into a Lead Teacher position

What We're Looking For

We're looking for positive, dependable, patient, and enthusiastic people who enjoy working with children.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED

- Must be at least 18 years of age

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Ability to work effectively with children, families, and coworkers

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Flexible and adaptable in a busy classroom environment

- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team

- Commitment to providing high-quality care and education

- Interest in growing professionally within Early Childhood Education

Previous childcare experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right candidate who has a passion for working with children.

Pay: $12.98–$16.46 per hour Final compensation is based on experience, skills, geographic location, and internal equity. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives and/or additional benefits.
