Basic Job Functions:

The responsibilities of the Slitter Operator include, but are not limited to, willingness to understand and operatethe stations within the slitter functions. Performing the duties of each area as outlined in the Standard OperatingProcedures & Job Safety Analysis; including Routine Preventative Maintenance on the equipment and toolingchanges on the mill slitter. The successful candidate will safely work with the team to accomplish productiongoals. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime, rotating shifts, offshifts, and weekends.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
