About this role

Position Summary

The Director of Investments provides leadership for Integrity Wealth’s investment philosophy, portfolio strategy, manager research, proprietary investment solutions, market communications, and investment governance. The role is accountable for disciplined investment decision-making and works closely with the Director of Investment Platforms, Operations, and Compliance to ensure investment solutions are effectively governed, implemented, and scaled.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Integrity Wealth’s proprietary model portfolios, including Retirement Ally and Wealth Solutions.
- Oversee SMA and UMA capabilities in partnership with BNY Mellon and other strategic relationships.
- Direct asset allocation, portfolio construction, model changes, and trade execution.
- Source, evaluate, select, and monitor investment managers and solutions, with attention to performance, risk, fit, and portfolio objectives.
- Partner with the Director of Investment Platforms on product due diligence and platform implementation.
- Deliver economic outlooks, market insights, advisor education, client-facing commentary, and thought leadership.
- Enhance existing investment models and develop new capabilities that address advisor and client needs.
- Partner with Operations and Compliance to ensure successful implementation and rollout of investment initiatives.
- Co-lead investment and risk committee oversight, including consideration of portfolio changes, emerging risks, and governance matters.
- Oversee model implementation and trading for key strategic relationships, including AAW.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, investment management, business, or a related field required; advanced degree or professional investment designation, such as the CFA designation, strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive investment management experience, preferably within wealth management, asset management, an RIA, or a similar investment organization.
- Significant experience in portfolio construction, asset allocation, investment manager research, model portfolio management, and investment risk management.
- Demonstrated experience managing or overseeing multi-asset portfolios and model-based investment solutions.
- Experience with SMA and/or UMA programs and third-party asset managers.
- Demonstrated experience communicating investment strategy, markets, portfolio positioning, and economic perspectives to financial advisors and clients.
- Leadership experience managing investment professionals and working with investment or risk committees.
- Deep understanding of capital markets, portfolio construction, manager selection, quantitative analysis, investment research, and risk management.
- Strong executive communication skills and the ability to explain sophisticated investment concepts clearly to advisors and clients.
- FINRA licenses Series 7, Series 24, and Series 66 (or 63 and 65)

Success Metrics

- Maintain a disciplined, documented, and consistently applied investment process across proprietary strategies.
- Evaluate portfolio results relative to each strategy’s stated objectives, appropriate benchmarks, peer groups, and risk parameters over relevant market cycles.
- Maintain appropriate diversification, risk controls, adherence to portfolio mandates, and documented rationale for material portfolio changes while managing the implementation of the strategies.
- Provide effective leadership and ongoing enhancement of Retirement Ally, Wealth Solutions, and future proprietary investment offerings.
- Maintain a disciplined manager sourcing, selection, monitoring, and termination framework and complete scheduled manager reviews.
- Increase advisor engagement with Integrity Wealth investment content, models, and investment resources and maintain strong advisor satisfaction with investment-team accessibility and support.
- Deliver timely, high-quality market commentary, economic perspectives, portfolio communications, and advisor education.
- Identify and successfully launch approved investment enhancements and new solutions in partnership with platform, operations, and compliance teams.
- Ensure material investment risks, portfolio changes, and manager concerns receive appropriate committee review and documentation.
- Establish clear objectives and accountability across the investment team and develop bench strength and subject-matter expertise.
