About this role

Responsibilities:

- Review, analyze, and report on stabilized property operations, sponsor performance and credit
- Propose actions to maintain loan performance and maximize asset value
- Proactively monitor and analyze the financial performance of assets
- Prepare and present credit recommendations related to loan extensions, conversions, and modifications
- Interact with sponsors, servicers, investors, legal counsel, and other external transaction parties
- Internally interact with the bankers, underwriters, credit and engineering risk, loan administrators, and other internal transaction parties
- Contribute to the timely completion of asset reviews, asset classifications, and related reporting.
- Contribute to increased loan closings, information flow between departments and management of risks for the CCC investments and loan portfolios
- Familiarity with affordable housing projects and the typical debt and equity parties involved in affordable transactions
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience
- Individual must have excellent communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Individual must work well under tight deadlines, manage priorities, and complete assigned tasks with minimal management follow up.
- Candidate is required to have a minimum of 6-7 years of multifamily asset management, transaction management, or underwriting with responsibilities consistent with those outlined above.
- Candidate has quantitative skills with a high proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft based programs.

Additional non-core qualifications which will be considered are:

- Financial statement analysis and portfolio management
- Multifamily underwriting experience
- Debt or equity experience with LIHTC properties and properties financed by tax-exempt bonds
- Income property equity or loan workout, foreclosure, and bankruptcy experience
- Prior management or supervisory experience
- Multifamily property condition assessment experience
- Experience assessing the capabilities of non-profit sponsors
- Multifamily property valuation experience

Education:

- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
- Degree in Finance or Real Estate required
