Schedule
Two 45-minute shifts per day before and after school. Enjoy school holidays and breaks off from work.

Pay
$17.65 per hour

The Why
Your job is simple but important: help kids cross busy streets safely.

You'll work at an assigned school crossing before and after school, prepare the crossing area, watch traffic conditions, and determine when it's safe for children and pedestrians to cross. You'll also help students learn safe crossing habits, check crossing signs and street conditions, and report safety concerns when something needs attention.

This is outdoor work, so you'll be on your feet and working in changing Utah weather. You'll need to stay alert around traffic and be able to communicate comfortably with children, parents, school employees, and City staff.

What You'll Need
You must be 18 years or older and able to attend and successfully complete required crossing guard training.
