Key Responsibilities:
People Partnership & Employee Relations
- Serve as a primary onsite People representative for Corporate Shared Services and Clinical Operations, building strong relationships with employees, managers, and senior leaders.
- Provide practical HR guidance across the employee lifecycle, including performance management, employee concerns, policy interpretation, organizational changes, and workplace matters.
- Manage employee relations matters and workplace investigations, partnering with People leadership and Legal as appropriate.
- Coach managers on effective employee management, documentation, performance conversations, and application of Company policies and practices.
Employee Administration & Organizational Changes
- Oversee employee administration and personnel transactions, including promotions, transfers, compensation and job changes, reclassifications, reporting-line changes, terminations, and other employment actions.
- Coordinate complex and high-volume organizational changes, ensuring appropriate approvals, documentation, system processing, communications, and stakeholder alignment.
- Partner with People Technology, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and other People functions to ensure accurate and timely execution of employee changes.
- Support workforce restructures, integrations, acquisitions, and other organizational transformation initiatives.
Leaves & Workplace Accommodations
- Provide oversight and guidance for employee leaves of absence and workplace accommodations, ensuring matters are handled consistently, timely, and in accordance with Company practices and applicable requirements.
- Partner with employees, managers, Leaves, Benefits, Legal, and operational leadership on complex leave, return-to-work, and accommodation matters.
- Support the interactive accommodation process and help coordinate operationally appropriate solutions.
- Maintain appropriate documentation, escalation practices, and controls for sensitive employee matters.
People Operations & Shared Services
- Support consistent People Operations practices across Corporate Shared Services, Clinical Operations, and national business operations.
- Help ensure employee inquiries and People transactions are handled accurately, professionally, and within established service expectations.
- Maintain strong documentation, data integrity, approval controls, and audit readiness, including processes supporting SOX compliance.
- Identify opportunities to simplify People processes, strengthen controls, improve the employee and manager experience, and increase operational efficiency.
- Support development and implementation of People policies, procedures, tools, and manager resources.
- Participate in national People initiatives and special projects supporting organizational growth, transformation, and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a strong background as an HR generalist, People Operations professional, or HR Business Partner supporting corporate and/or operational employee populations.
- Demonstrated experience with employee relations, employee administration, organizational change, leaves of absence, and workplace accommodations.
- Experience supporting leaders and employees within a multi-state organization strongly preferred.
- Healthcare experience strongly preferred; experience within telehealth, clinical operations, healthcare services, or other highly regulated environments is a significant plus.
- Experience supporting organizational restructures, workforce changes, integrations, or other transformation initiatives preferred.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment requirements and HR compliance practices.
- Experience with Workday or a comparable enterprise HRIS strongly preferred.
- Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive employee matters.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment while balancing employee experience, compliance, and business needs.
- Comfortable working directly with employees, managers, and senior leadership and serving as a visible representative of the People function.
