Waste Connections of Canada has an immediate opening for a Casual Scale Attendant  at our  Coronation Landfill District.

Rate:   $19.89 per hour

Shift: On-Call - No Set Shifts - this is to cover vacation, sickness and any other needs.

Our priority is to make sure we hire safe individuals that care about the service provided to the community. As a Casual Scale Attendant with us the minimum responsibilities are:

- Operate the weigh-station scale

- Entering appropriate data into computer (product, weight, customer name, etc.)

- Communicate with drivers, through speaker system, to determine type of material being dumped, etc.

- Process payment from customers, as needed

- There is no set schedule or guaranteed hours for this casual position.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

- Good data entry skills

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, and Excel

- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Position may be required overtime work depending on business need
