WOW! is looking for a Business Analyst to help turn complex operational and financial data into actionable insights that support smarter business decisions.

This role sits at the intersection of business operations, financial analysis, reporting, data analytics, and process improvement. You’ll work across departments and with external vendors to analyze performance, build meaningful reporting, identify opportunities, and provide leaders with the information they need to improve operational effectiveness and financial results.

What You’ll Do

Business & Financial Analysis

- Perform business case analysis by working with multiple departments and vendors to provide analytical insights that support operational and financial goals.
- Analyze operational metrics, financial information, and performance data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Support the management of financial reports, spending, invoices, and other financial activities under the direction of the Business Operations Manager.
- Provide guidance to management on financial matters, spending guidelines, budget adherence, metric goals, and performance.
- Perform mathematical calculations and financial ratio analysis to support business decisions.

Data, Reporting & Analytics

- Create and facilitate data mining, reporting, data visualization, and analysis using information from multiple sources.
- Develop reporting that helps evaluate operational initiatives, enhance the customer experience, and drive operational efficiencies.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure critical business data is accurate, available, and delivered in a timely manner.
- Work closely with employees responsible for reporting functions to maintain data integrity and ensure reporting requirements are consistently met.
- Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets and analytical tools that support internal financial and operational applications.
- Translate complex technical and financial information into meaningful insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

- Evaluate current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend solutions that enhance performance and efficiency.
- Analyze complex operational issues and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Apply financial, technical, and operational knowledge to evaluate business situations and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Manage projects from initiation through completion while coordinating multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Help leadership identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce inefficiencies, and strengthen business performance.

Vendor & Cross-Functional Support

- Support vendor relationships from a reporting, financial, and invoicing perspective.
- Collaborate with multiple departments and business partners to gather information, solve problems, and deliver analytical insights.
- Develop strong working relationships across operational and financial teams.
- Serve as a trusted analytical resource for management and business stakeholders.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of related financial management or business analysis experience.
- Experience analyzing operational and financial data and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Experience managing projects and coordinating work across multiple stakeholders.

Skills & Expertise

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to evaluate complex operational issues.
- Strong understanding of financial metrics, calculations, ratios, budgets, and business performance.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical and financial information to non-technical and non-financial audiences.
- Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to connect operational performance to financial results.
- Broadband or service-provider industry experience and knowledge of related operational metrics is strongly preferred.

Technology & Data Skills

- Expert-level Microsoft Excel proficiency, including developing and maintaining complex spreadsheets for financial and operational applications.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with database applications such as SQL is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with billing systems and other core business data sources is preferred.
- Experience with data mining, reporting, visualization, and analysis tools is a plus.
