About this role

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.Every day you will prepare patients for scans, operate advanced MRI equipment, ensure patient safety in the magnetic environment, and accurately capture detailed anatomical images.To be successful, you will demonstrate expert technical proficiency in MRI, meticulous attention to detail for image quality and safety, and excellent patient communication to ensure a comfortable and effective diagnostic experience.

- Demonstrates adherence to the Standards of Conduct Requirements. Completes and turns in the SOC acknowledgement card Fulfills compliance education requirements as directed by the Compliance department or department management The Integrity Program: Standards of Conduct-a guide to compliance and ethics

- Demonstrates competency in department-specific Customer Service Standards.

- Complies with hospital/departmental policy and procedures, and adheres to the code of ethics and conduct of The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

- Understands and adheres to procedure orders requirements to include: verifying orders in the medical chart, prescriptions, and verifying patient's identification.

- Meets annual competency requirement prior to evaluation date.

- Communicates effectively with physicians, ancillary areas, and internal staff. Demonstrates the capacity to evaluate, coordinate, and execute responsibilities under pressure situations. Has the initiative to resolve customer problems by self, and involves supervisors as necessary.

Job Requirements

Required

- High School Diploma, or GED

- One (1) year as an MRI technologist in a full service Radiology/MRI Department

- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT

- Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging

- Registered Technologist Computed Tomography

- Basic Life Support - CPR

Preferred

- Medical Radiographer: CA

- Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA

- Venipuncture
