Position Purpose and Objectives
To provide high quality, best practice, evidence-informed and culturally safe assessments and therapeutic interventions to clients of WellSouth or affiliated GP practices, or providers.
To actively work within an integrated ‘Stepped Model of Care’ that supports clients’ needs and enables them to move between the right services.
To undertake all relevant clinician activities to successfully fulfil learning objectives of the internship, under the guidance of Clinical Psychologist Supervisors.
POSITION OBJECTIVES
This will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, but is likely to include:
- Delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions and psychological assessments.
- Actively engaging in continuously improving care for clients.
- Actively engaging with relevant organisational service delivery teams.
- Being a professionally proficient and accountable clinician.

Your Qualifications
- Enrolled in a recognised Training institution (Clinical Psychology, or General Scope Psychology).
- Registration as an Intern Psychologist with the NZ Psychologist’s Board.
- Full drivers’ licence.
- Legal right to work in New Zealand.
- Complies with the requirements under the Vulnerable Children Act 2014.
