What You Will Do:

- Lead the development and execution of the Liquids Pipelines Data Modernization roadmap, translating business strategy, operational needs, and stakeholder priorities into scalable data solutions and multiyear delivery plans.
- Design and lead the delivery of scalable data pipelines, curated datasets, analytical solutions, and reusable assets using Azure Databricks, Python, SQL, Power BI, and related enterprise technologies.
- Establish and champion data engineering, analytics, governance, quality, reconciliation, and documentation practices that support trusted and sustainable data products.
- Lead complex analytics and automation initiatives focused on power cost optimization, operational performance, variance drivers, and commercial opportunities, translating insights into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
- Direct the development of executive and operational dashboards, KPIs, reports, and analytical tools that enable effective decision-making and provide visibility into business and operational performance.
- Partner with business stakeholders, TIS, and platform teams to align priorities, guide technical designs, evaluate trade-offs, resolve implementation challenges, and successfully move solutions from concept through sustainment, including opportunities to responsibly integrate AI, automation, and machine learning capabilities.
- Advise on the strategy for integrating AI-enabled tools, automation agents, and machine learning capabilities into data modernization workflows, analytics products, and business processes.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Advisors, analysts, and students through coaching, design and code reviews, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback to strengthen overall team capability.

Who You Are:

- University degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related discipline with 6 or more years of progressively responsible, directly related experience. Candidates without a university degree require an additional 3 years of related experience.
- Expert, hands-on experience with Azure Databricks or comparable lakehouse/data engineering platforms, along with advanced proficiency in Python and SQL to design, optimize, automate, and troubleshoot complex data solutions.
- Advanced experience with Power BI and Microsoft Excel, including data modeling, visualization, analytical logic, KPI development, and creating meaningful executive-level reporting.
- Demonstrated experience translating complex business strategies and requirements into data architecture, technical requirements, data models, solution designs, reporting logic, and delivery roadmaps, with strong knowledge of data quality, governance, lineage, testing, and reconciliation practices.
- Strategic and creative problem solver who can navigate ambiguity, analyze complex and non-standard challenges, identify relationships across systems, and develop practical, data-driven recommendations.
- Influential and collaborative communicator with demonstrated ability to engage technical, non-technical, and leadership audiences, build stakeholder alignment, lead discussions and presentations, and coach and mentor others.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning, remaining adaptable and resilient while building your knowledge of emerging data, analytics, automation, and AI technologies and applying new capabilities to evolving business needs.

Preferred:

- Experience with Liquids Pipelines infrastructure and operations, energy management, power accounting, commercial structures, scheduling, budgeting/long-range planning, or operational performance analytics.
- Experience leading production-grade data pipelines, automation solutions, AI-enabled tools or machine learning capabilities, and/or project management, agile delivery, change management, or data product ownership initiatives.
