Job Description:

Shift: Rotating Shift; 24x7

The Aircraft Maintenance Gateway Workload Coordinator (GWC) Supervisor coordinates the routing and scheduling of recurring and non-recurring aircraft maintenance items to ensure aircraft maintenance is completed in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, the UPS General Maintenance Manual (GMM), and union contracts. This position uses aircraft maintenance technical knowledge to determine the scheduling of maintenance items while ensuring aircraft availability for the Air operations. He/She coordinates with various groups to resolve operational issues, conduct compliance audits, and analyze Aircraft Maintenance Planning department procedures for process improvement. This position is also responsible for coordinating the planned workload with Aircraft Line Maintenance resources and the airline operation in Louisville. The Aircraft Maintenance Gateway Workload Coordinator (GWC) Supervisor conducts audits, improves processes, generates reports, and maintains safety.

Required Skills:

- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license, or currently enrolled in an accredited program working toward A&P certification
- Strong analytical and workflow management skills
- Excellent reading comprehension, writing, and documentation abilities

Preferred Skills :

- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and documents.
- Strong computer knowledge and familiarity with aircraft maintenance computer systems such as Maintenix and aircraft routing tools.
