Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Manager, CRC Energy Accounting on a permanent full-time basis within our Finance team. This position is hybrid and is based at our Refinery Business Office in Regina, SK .

What you’ll do:

- Lead CRC financial reporting and accounting, overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements while ensuring accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and effective internal controls.
- Provide financial leadership and business partnership to the Refinery Leadership Team (RLT) and CRC leaders, providing insight and guidance on profitability, costs, cash flow, resource allocation, and financial performance.
- Oversee complex energy accounting activities, including crude oil, natural gas, by-products, utilities, leases, compliance, inventory, and other specialized accounting matters.
- Drive financial analysis and decision support, including variance, margin, profitability, and trend analysis, while identifying financial risks, opportunities, and recommendations to improve business performance.
- Strengthen financial processes and capabilities, partnering with CRC and Finance teams to improve reporting, KPIs, systems, controls, and financial practices while building financial acumen across the business.
- Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team, while coordinating year-end and external audit activities and fostering accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and strong financial stewardship.

Who you’ll work with:
The Team: You will lead the CRC Energy Accounting team within Corporate Accounting, reporting to the Senior Manager, Energy Corporate Accounting. You’ll collaborate closely with the CRC Refinery Leadership Team, business leaders, Corporate Accounting, and other Finance teams to provide accurate financial information, insights, and guidance that support sound business decisions.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:

- Have 8+ years of finance experience, including a minimum of 5 years of accounting-related experience.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business.
- Hold a Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation.
