Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities :

- The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules that balance customer demand, material availability, manufacturing capacity, and operational priorities. This role proactively identifies constraints, evaluates potential risks, and collaborates across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Program Management to support customer commitments and operational performance.
- Analyze production demand, capacity, and material availability to develop and maintain achievable production schedules.
- Identify scheduling constraints and bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions to support customer commitments.
- Develop schedule scenarios and capacity plans to support changing business priorities and customer requirements.
- Monitor and report key planning metrics, including schedule adherence, on-time delivery, backlog health, and resource utilization.
- Partner with Operations, Materials Planning, Engineering, and Program Management to resolve material shortages, capacity issues, and scheduling risks.
- Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and major customer projects through planning and capacity assessments.
- Develop reports and dashboards that improve planning visibility and decision-making.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on planning processes, scheduling accuracy, and ERP utilization.
- Provide planning support across multiple product lines and manufacturing areas as needed.

Position Requirements :

- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Candidates without a degree will be considered based on relevant experience in manufacturing planning, production scheduling, materials management, or supply chain operations.
- Minimum 2-4- years of experience in manufacturing planning, scheduling, production control, or supply chain role.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, material requirements planning (MRP), inventory management, and production control principles.
- Proficiency with Oracle EBS or similar ERP systems.
- Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and reporting tools.
- Ability to analyze production data, identify constraints, and develop practical scheduling solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- APICS/ASCM CPIM certification.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence and reporting tools.
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing value streams.
- Experience developing operational reports, dashboards, and planning metrics.

The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans.

Salary Range: $56,000 to $153,100
