Local & Regional Class C Driver – Salem, OR
Taylor Metal Products is a leading manufacturer of high-quality steel roofing and siding products. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Class C Driver to join our Salem, Oregon team.
This is a full-time driving position making local and out-of-state deliveries of our finished building materials to customers and job sites. No CDL is required. We are looking for someone with a strong driving record who is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a hands-on, blue-collar environment.
Starting Pay: $20.00–$21.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Make local and out-of-state deliveries as assigned
- Safely operate company vehicles requiring a Class C driver's license
- Deliver building materials to customers and active job sites
- Secure and transport loads safely
- Complete required delivery paperwork and documentation
- Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers
- Follow company safety procedures and driving requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license required
- Clean and acceptable driving record required
- Must meet company vehicle insurance requirements
- CDL is not required
- Previous delivery or professional driving experience preferred
- Forklift knowledge or experience preferred
- Warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or other blue-collar industry experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Must be comfortable with both local and out-of-state driving
