About this role

Under limited supervision, responsible for operating and maintaining x-ray equipment and taking x-rays of various portions of the body to assist radiologist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. May lead or mentor lower level team members.

- Able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and skill necessary to provide care and imaging to pediatric adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
- Ability to assess a situation, consider alternatives, and choose an appropriate course of action.
- Comfortable working with computers and large pieces of technological equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast pace and high volume environment.
- Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.

EDUCATION:

- Associate's of Applied Science Degree, or the successful completion of an approved two-year (2) program in radiologic technology is required.

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION:

- ARRT certified (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) is required.
