Safely and accurately receives, handles, stores, and controls inbound materials while supporting inventory accuracy, product quality, and efficient warehouse operations. Assignments may range from material handling to advanced receiving functions based on demonstrated skills, certifications, business needs, and assigned level. Exact level assigned will be evaluated as part of the hiring process.

Job Information

Full-Time, Hourly

First Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Receive, unload, verify, stage, move, store, and transfer inbound materials and inventory.

- Use handheld devices and warehouse systems to complete receiving, putaway, inventory, and cycle-count transactions.

- Review purchase orders, packing lists, and receiving documents; report shortages, overages, damages, or other discrepancies.

- Inspect materials for damage or nonconformance and support quality hold, inspection, and product configuration processes.

- Maintain accurate product locations and follow inventory-control, storage, and material-handling procedures.

- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, conveyors, and other authorized equipment safely when trained and certified.

- Communicate shipment status and receiving issues with Purchasing, carriers, vendors, leaders, and internal partners.

- Meet department safety, quality, productivity, and accuracy standards while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

- Support cross-functional logistics activities, team-member training, continuous improvement, and other assigned duties.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge and Skills

- Basic computer, math, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn warehouse and inventory systems.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete accurate inventory transactions.

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, prioritize work, and manage multiple tasks.

- Ability to communicate and work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous warehouse, logistics, distribution, receiving, inventory-control, or material-handling experience.

- Experience with handheld scanners, warehouse systems, purchase orders, packing lists, forklifts, or pallet jacks.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

- Warehouse/distribution-center environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, dust, moving equipment, conveyors, trailers, and warehouse traffic; required PPE must be worn.

- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, reaching, twisting, and use of hands to handle materials and equipment.

- Regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds; heavier materials require assistance or appropriate equipment.

- Ability to inspect products and labels, review documentation, climb ladders, access elevated areas, and safely operate authorized equipment.

- Overtime, extended hours, weekends, or holidays may be required based on business needs. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and scheduling flexibility are essential.
